Fungicide Treatments on Spring Wheat:
A Post-Flowering Option?
Knowing the (1) weather conditions at flowering, (2) crop
rotation, and (3) variety of wheat grown are all key
factors in making an informed decision about a fungicide
application.

We are continually receiving reports of soybean aphids
being found in fields across Minnesota.

The sugar beet plant pathology laboratory at the
University of Minnesota, Northwest Research and Outreach
Center has received sugar beet samples
with disease identifications
have been similar to previous years.

Establishment of Alfalfa
Planting new stands of alfalfa during the late summer
is an excellent way to establish alfalfa. Late summer
alfalfa seeding is not necessarily better than spring
planting, but it does provide another option that may
better fit your work schedule or rotational practices.
