Sulfur Deficiency in Alfalfa?
Alfalfa and canola tend to respond most to sulfur fertilization more than other crops in our area.

Make Hay when the Sun Shines
The old adage, make hay when the sun shines, is especially appropriate this year; to get the hay harvested, we need to grab those short periods of sunshine.

Prevented Planting: Lots of Options
Prevented planting (PP) is not a desirable option, resulting in a small positive net return at best. However, a small return (or a small loss) is better than potentially large losses due to late planting in very wet conditions.
